Fittings

The blade is 12” long engraved with Victorian cypher, engraving is a little
warn. Fittings are of white metal. Fitting on the bottom of the sheath has been
replaced. The pommel of the dirk, knife, and fork has been replaced with
Tortoiseshell. I have been told that this was probably an officer’s dirk and
was carried in the Middle East.There he may have sold his Cairngorm stones and had them
replaced with the tortoiseshell, (possibly needing money).
