MS #7 - This is a Kings own Scottish Borders sword.
Maker is Thurkle & Sons, London. Age - early 1900s. Blade is worn and there
is some pitting near the point of the blade. The blade is 32 ½" long. The
basket hilt is good with a light patina all around. Liner has been replaced at
some time. Grip is Ray skin, very well worn. Scabbard is metal with pitting and
two dents. This sword has been well used, the ball drag testifies to extensive
use.
