There is a small chip on the pommel on the back of the grip.

Description

 This 1913 Sgian Dubh has hallmarked sterling silver fittings. The fittings at the base of the pommel and just above the blade have a thistle design. The fittings on the sheath have Celtic knot work designs.

The grip has a combination basket weave and rope work design. There is a small chip near the pommel on the back of the grip.
