This antique dirk has all brass fittings and dates back to the early 1800s. The dirk’s grip is made of wood with a basket weave design carved in it.
The fork is marked Pitelet, R. made in France. The knife and fork handles are replacements. The dirk blade has pitting overall (see photos). The sheath is made of heavy leather.
The blade is 12inches long with an overall length 18 inches.
