Description
This Victorian dirk was probably made in the mid to late 1800s. All four ornate pieces have white metal fittings. The grips of the dirk as well as the small knife and fork are made of wood with a basket weave pattern carved in them. The tip of the sheath has been repaired at some time. The mounts for the stones are in excellent shape. The blade is 10 ¾ inches long. The length of the dirk is 18 inches overall.
