Ornate Victorian Dirk

This ornate, Victorian dirk was probably made in the mid to late 1800s. The grips of the dirk as well as the small knife and fork are made of wood with a carved basket weave pattern.

The tip of the sheath has been repaired at some time. The mounts for the stones are in excellent shape. The blade is 10 ¾ inches long. The length of the dirk is 18 inches overall. All four pieces, the large blade, the sheath, the knife and fork, have white metal fittings.
