Tom Duffy made this custom Thistle Dirk. The dirk has all brass fittings with a prominent thistle on the dirk’s pommel.

The grips are made of turned buffalo horn and the sheath is wood covered with red leather. The dirk is 20 inches overall.

Description

The Thistle Dirk was custom made by Tom Duffy. This unique dirk has brass fittings on the sheath, dirk and bye-knife. The dirk features a prominent thistle on the pommel.

The sheath is made of wood and is covered with red leather. The dirk grip and the bye-knife handle are made of turned buffalo horn.

The dirk blade is 13 1/2 inches long with a serrated back. The over all length of this dirk is 20 inches. The bye-knife also has a serrated back.

This custom dirk is one of the kind. Due to health issues, Mr. Duffy is no longer making these beautiful dirks.
